I made my own grille i took the old one off, unscrewed the fiat badge cut out the center section and removed the bars then i rubbed the whole thing down and filled the gaps with plastic and then filled to give a smooth effect painted and finished off with wire mesh re fitted to the car looks the nuts cost me about £15 in total and about 1.5 days to do,
give it a go!!!

yes basically taken the badge out then cut the bars out the with a little patients and time filled and painted it and meshed it to finish

possibly!! but it has had work done on it by my local fiat bodyshop!!!

when i brought it i was so excited i didnt really look at the car so i jumped in it went through the controlls and zoomed off not untill i got home realised there was a hand print dent in the bonnet!! so it went back and the sorted the bonnet and repainted it for me, got it homw and realised it was a differednt colour to the wings (slightly darker) so back it went to get sorted so they did i asked (can u make it all match i want the bonnet the same colour as the wings) so the did they painted the wings so now my bonnet and wings are the same colour but are different from the rest of the car!!!!

bit of a pisser really!!!

If i were you, i would tell them to paint my bonnet in black.. Its about using chances. :D

Think i had to wait quite a while for mine aswell, the company you've bought it from have probably gotta get it from Germany first...........still seems along time i know, but thats the excuse i was given

All I can say is be greatful you are close to Germany. It would take a LOT more than 30 days to get one of those shipped here... and the chances of it being in one piece wouldn't be good either.

Right, so my new grille was delivered on the back ofa donkey yesterday... seems it was sent across the channel across the backs of specialy trained carrier pigeons... of course having waited for what seems like an eternity for it to arrive, I fitted it straight away, it goes on sooo damn easily, and it looks just how I thought it would, however, I broke the old one taking it off :(

There is one minor problem, and that is that you can see the shiny bracket of the bumper behind it, but i reckon some well placed pieces of insulation or gaffers tape and that will disappear in no time...

Definately a worthwhile buy!
