General Front driver sides headlight unit

Hi,

I have a 2012 fiat punto.

I took it in for an early mot and it has failed on the drivers side headlight unit.

They have said that i need a whole new unit, however it is missing the bracket.

Can you advise could i just get this part from a scrapyard?

is this the clip you mean, that holds the headlight bulb securely in place. It's just a spring clip, like this..

Not sure if it is this, but cheap to fix if it is. (might not be exactly the right piece, but there are other types, according to the bulb type)

Is there a fault with the light unit.. Or just an insecure bulb?

I suspect the clip will be the same as a Grande Punto.. Plenty of those in the yards now
