Ah, Komrades! It is good here for I am in the land of plenty! (well, plenty of panda fans

)
Setjeska tells me that I paid way to much for this hotel the other night...
£31... Including breakfast and garaged parking. Mmm... I'd call that a bargain lol
Reminds me of driving to Istanbul, hehe
Would come in handy to have one of em for when there are 2 lorries and a car coming at you all on your side of the road. Thankfully the panda is much more nimble than that beast when it comes to getting out of the way of the Polish when they're in a hurry (or have a death wish, it's hard to tell)
We got a little bit of snow...
The intercontinental missiles where probably hidden behind the trees to the left...
But then Sutjeska turned up and lead me away for some tea and really warming dinner and then to his machanic...
Were as he has said the verdict was good and that we are safe to return home in our new baby
Did get quite a crowd, that's Michael (who works for the local television station and they want to cover the arctic run in April) with the machanic and Setjeska is in there somewhere too. There was a second mechanic there somewhere too but maybe fred was talking to him. Couple of jobs need done, the exhaust is deffinatly blowing but it's not serious so shouldn't fall off till I get at least to kent. Did need some gearbox oil but it seems to be a slow leak so we'll stay on top of that
Even thou it is very cold I still managed to find a huge erection....
Quite a shaft that pole has.....
So we all found some new friends this morning
Andrew gave up his panda to try a RHD one in Warsaw traffic which seemed like a good idea at the time. I joked with him that there a 5 out of six chance that he'd find a gear that will make us go forward, hehe....
(he did very very well for not having been on that side before

)
So it was time to leave Warsaw until April when we return with Sylvia
So we're in another really expensive hotel tonight... I blew the budget and spent £40 quid on this one! Really can't recommend Poland enough as a holiday destination. The old towns are just every bit as nice as Prague, the exhange rate makes the euro look like it's made of solid gold and the people couldn't be nicer. Ok, I might of got a little bit of special treatment from the panda fans but even the folk who work in the garages are so nice when some stupid foriginer comes in and can't work the pumps or the car wash. Sutjeska has a folder of all the panda club holidays and I've said to Alan that we're going to go on the one next year as the panda adventure cause it looked so much fun just messing about with the cars and some tents thou I have to say that there really isn't much 'Health & Safety' over here but that in my opinion is a great thing!
Catch you all soon (as I've a hell of a lot of driving to do!)
Jim
