I tried to take it in colour but it all went really grainy so I swapped the phone over to bw and it took ok then

Brilliant photos Jim, we did a trip to Poland in 2004 in the new Panda, but down south. Like you say it is amazing and very cheap, also did christmas in Krakow one year which was gorgeous.
Hope you have a safe journey home, you were lucky that Russian T34 tank didnt take a pot shot at your Italian car

When Sutjeska first wrote on our forum that Jim was comming to Warsaw just to test his car, we thought that the test will end somewhere near Berlin.
But he made it!
Sylvester is in great condition. Not many of our Pandas are in such state, but that is thanks to the weather in UK (by that I don't mean recent snow)- in Poland each winter is like giving your car an acidic wash.That's thanks to tons of salt on the roads.
Anyway, I just wanted to say "Hi" to you all. I'm Michal (grey hat on the photo taken under the Panda) and I'm Fiat Panda Fan from Poland. I have two Mk1s- from 1985 and 1982 which are undergoing repairs to make them better than new ;-)

Latest news - Jim had a coffee break in Kraków, then started journey back. 5 hours ago he was on A4 motorway near Katowice. Everything was OK! Now he should be near german border.
BTW: we (me and my 4x4) met real "Panda on steroids" two years ago. My 4x4 was a little bit younger and smaller then, but decided to be like this white one.

That Panda on Steriods looks super-un-car-human..... COOL!
It's a Rayton-Fissore Magnum, italian's competitor for Range Rover, with 2,5 litre Iveco turbodiesel. But from the distance it looks like a 5door Panda. Only when you compare them side-by-side, you see small differences
