Providing france, germany and any other countrys you pass through aren't covered in snow so much that you cant get on the road, i think you could just make it Jim... Sylvester a 4x4?

Sylvester made it to Gent tonight.....
He was ok, but I was really tied after battling that snow all night then only getting 4 hours in bed before trying to get to Dover and begging Norfolk Line to let me move my 'No changes, no refunds' sailing from morning to afternoon. They were very nice about it and said that due to the weather they'd sort it all for free. Isn't that nice
Fred is in the top bunk tonight watching a TopGear adventure special. I think I heard him mutter 'Amatures' under his breath there but I could be mistaken...
Hopefully we'll cross germany tomorrow, it's about 600 miles. My panda luck has never been good with that part of the world. Here's hoping there will be a change with Sylvester

Actually, Formule1, I've stayed in one of those in Leicester when doing a gig up there with a band a couple of years back. Very basic and a bit youth hostel'ish, but the most amazing thing about them is the shared bathrooms in the corridors (none of the rooms have en-suites). I'm sure they're all one piece pre-moulded plastic, shower, sink and all. They're automatically cleaned out internally like those 'superloos' so make sure you're not in one when that happens! Kind of feels like being in a giant doll's house shower unit minus Barbie
Anyway, Jim - you're mad. Only a loony would buy an old Panda, in January, and then drive it 1000 miles across Europe, most probably through winter weather, all the way to an even colder country like Poland!
