Once from me:
Your car looks awesome! The color of the rims complements the looks further. About trims, i can't decide really. Should look nice both ways imho.

hey , no the Arch trims were removed by the previous owner , i do however have a set available that im going to put back , looks to naked with out it .
Only problems i have so far is that the expansion tank is rubbing on the wheel when i hit bumps and its getting annoying , but i was told that the Uno (Pacer) or 45 as you know it has a Replacement hose , and that should solve my problem ,
Another thing is roling with big wheels stuffs my fuel consumption up , and it starting to annoy me abit .. but let me show u a full pic ..

Well done for actually going out and doing it, the 17's do (or did...) look great.

I like my 15s. :)
I don't think they really look a whole two inches smaller... Must be because my tyres are smaller too (with your 17s, what tyres did you have? Must be hard to get 195-width tyres in 17"?)

Original 175/60/13" tyre = rolling radius 270.1mm
185/60/13" tyre fitted to my Uno by previous owner = rolling radius 276.1mm

My 195/45/15" tyre = rolling radius 278.25mm
Difference from original (speedometer error) 3.02%
(Helps to make standard speedometer more accurate!)

You would need 30-profile 17" 195 or 205 tyres to get close to this.
If you had, say, 205/35/17 tyres, rolling radius = 287.65mm, 6.5% error.

I use the excellent page
http://www.chris-longhurst.com/carbibles/tyre_bible.html
to make these calculations.

One other tidbit of info - I think the 'Pacer' in South Africa is more like a Mk2 5-dr 60s, as it has the 1108cc engine?

Thanks,
-Alex
