General Fog Light Wiring

Does anyone know much about the Mk2 switch panel for a Marea Weekend ??

I am trying to add front fog lights, but could not get hold of a Mk2 switch panel with the temperature button on it, so I have tried to solder the switch and leds into the blanking plate on the left hand side of the panel.

The problem is, on the back of the switch panel, where all the pins are that the plug pushes onto, there are a couple missing. It would appear that two of the ones that are missing are for the front fog lights.

So, I have a switch soldered into the panel, and all the wiring in place from the lights to the relay and all the way up to the panel, but as the two pins are missing, the connection is not made from the switch panel to the plug that pushes into the back of it.

Does anyone know if I can just solder the additional two pins onto the circuit board and plug everything in again ??

I would try it, but do not want to fry the circuit board !!!

Or if someone could check the connector on the back of their switch panel and tell me what pins they have and what are missing, that would be great.
