Does Fiat use a flood clear mode?

I.E. Engine is flooded with to much fuel you just press the accelerator fully and then insert the key and crank the engine a few times... in this time the ECU will not allow the injectors to squirt any more fuel.

I doubt it. I can't see why it'd be required.

If you want to do this then disconnect the crank shaft position sensor and that should stop fuelling (y)

OK, so engine was badly flooded.
I tried the classic wait a few hours ..and even over night.
I tried flooring the gas pedal while cranking.. but that did nothing.

Eventually i removed the spark plugs and let the engine sit for a few hours with them removed.
The spark plugs were wet dirty and did not spark as they should.. got that sorted with a bronze brush -softer than stainless ( i know you should not clean iridium spark plugs like that ..but i did it any way ); After brushing them they started sparking OK-ish ..
I reinstalled the spark plugs and then removed the pump fuse ( curious in the engine bay fuse box there are 3 fuses that should go to the pump but only fuse F21 actually stopped the pump); I then cranked the engine over a few times..just to make sure there was no more extra fuel.
Reinstall the fuse and then it started right up. Took it for a little warmup run..and it seems to be ok for the moment.
Tomorrow i will be making a longer trip, so that should cleanup the spark plugs.

buy new plugs - they must be changed every service!!

I actually have a small cold starting problem... that's the reason it flooded and that's the reason for the wet dirty spark plugs. After a few starts it flooded.

Usually the spark plugs are nice and clean /brownish.

I went to the dealer for this.. they say the update is only available for some of the ECUs installed on the Bravo. .. and it seems mine is not among them.
Maybe is just have to try another dealer.
