Technical Limp mode under load

My fiat bravo 2008 1.6 multijet

The car goes into limp mode when I put my foot to the floor if I flick the ignition on and off power comes back and recently noticed car will rev out in first and second gear no problem any gear after that it will go into limp mode if I punch the throttle

Any help appreciated

I had something like that which proved to be an air leak on the inlet manifold, although reading error codes said it was MAF and Map sensors, so may be worth checking anywhere from MAF sensor, turbo piping, intercooler and then the inlet manifold it's self.
Mine was the three bolt gasket for the EGR to inlet at back of engine close to bulkhead.
