Flat battery

I foolishly managed to run my battery flat on my HGT. Jump started it to a high pitched beeper that wouldn't stop for about 10 minutes. When it did stop I found that everything works except my alarm and immobiliser.

Is there something I need to do with a security code? I got a code from the previous owner but have since moved home and don't know where it is.

Anyone know how to sort this out?

I had a similar problem with my alarm.

I changed my battery after it went flat and it sent the alarm crazy.

I ended up switching the thing off (switch is in with the fuses, look at your manual), and getting a Thatcham Cat 1 Toad alarm fitted for £250.
It alarms the bonnet, boot, and both the doors, plus for an extra £50. you can get a proximity sensor fitted to warn people off getting too close to the car.

It was done by a mobile company called A to B factory direct. If anyones interested I could try and find their number.

Flat Battery

Thanks Si, I'd rather not have to spend £250 every time I run my battery down though, I'm kind of famous for that (I'm sure the AA are getting fed up with it!)

I was kind of hoping that someone would be able to tell me that I can turn it on again with the code and that I can get a replacement code from Fiat.

Anyone else have any other suggestions before I replace my alarm?

Because I foolishly decided to charge my phone in my car as I've lost my charger. I meant to leave it on for an hour but forgot and left it on for 10 instead!

I think I will have to speak to Fiat, I was hoping someone else had come across it and had a quick fix for me! Ah well, thanks anyway people.

I TOO RAN MY BATT FLAT AND WHEN I JUMP STARTED MINE IT WAS FINE.... NOT MUCH HELP I KNOW, BUT HAVE YOU TRIED DISCONECTING AGAIN AND RE-CONNECTING ?? I WILL HAVE A LOOK IN THE MANUAL FOR YOU ? YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO SORT WITH RED KEY?
