Morning all, I’ve read a few posts on this aimed at the blue tooth and me device not working. Are there any resolutions other than repairing the module, help is appreciated

It had an android /car play screen fitted when I got the car and I’ve checked the factory settings on the screen and it’s set up for a Fiat 500 2011+.

I had a recent battery drain and new alternator fitted recently and didn’t know if the blinking odometer was a result of that. I’ve tried disconnecting the power cable on the battery, leaving for 10 minutes before reconnecting and that didnt work.

Flashing is a standard FIat signa,l as would be a warning lamp, to indicate the cars Can bus network has lost an expected module. You can remove non essential modules from the list the ECU reads on startup, much as a USB node on a laptop. The proxialignement is similar to a re boot and allows the missing module to be deleted. The can bus network then stops looking and not finding it, and the warning flashing should stop. Look at the MES register and see if anyone is close who could assist. Its a few minutes only to do.
