@Mike1alike I understand that you are a “flashing km” expert
Thanks for your confirmation.Lol, I'm not a "flashing km" expert. Mine never did a flashing, fortunately.
But basically you've listed correctly what you need.
You need a ELM327 tool, cabled not bluetooth. Or, if you prefer the bluetooth version you can go that way and find an app that works with it. I have the ELM327 v. 1.4 and when I got mine I noticed that with the bluetooth version you can only do less than with the cable one. I don't know if that's still the case nowadays.
I don't know exactly which color cable you need, you'll have to work that out according to your car specs, you'll find the info somewhere. But the color code was a thing for the old port adaptors, 3-pin, I think. And I think yours has the OBD2, so any OBD2 tool with cable should work.
And yes, you need a software then, to work with the tool.
I put the link for the MES 4.7 here, in post #27. That is the PC/laptop software version and it works with the cabled ELM327. Works great!
What do you mean “do a scan”?You should do a 'Scan' first if it has that function and connect to the modules it shows.
If not and you can connect with Doblo 15/17 go with that and see if you can fix it.
I am trying with the different options, let’s see how it goes.I mean that software in your photos. Some of them have 'Scan' function and if you do that they list all the modules they can read on your car.
This is my MES reading my Punto connected with ELM327 v. 1.4.
Yes very true
Search on utube. I came across an excellent detailed walk through on utube a few yrs ago. Unfortunately at the time I didn’t have a Microsoft PC to run the mutltiscan s/w. At the time I had problems with the blue & me module which had water ingress. A common problem with fiat 500’s as the module is located in the rear quarter. Rather than replace the module I had it removed. The mileage has flashed ever since! My garage failed to perform a proxy alignment to stop this! The video explained why inexperienced users would fail to rectify using the multi scan sw.
Without fully understanding your specific problem the on board central computer needs to know what you have done with the radio.
In my case the flashing mileage was indicating a fault with the blue and me module. Although now removed, the OBC needs to know this. This is what the proxy alignment does. (Im not an expert), but hope this helps.
On the home screen click on "forums" on the black task bar scroll down to MES members then click into there and the map will come up -click on individual members for details!.
Do you have the problem
I dont understand what you mean?
Just need some advice how to use the software

1-settings,,factory[000000].
Model selection,mine was simplesoft,select car,fiat,and then model.
Then go to- car info-car settings-instrument control panel-click on car type and select 1,then 2 then 3.
Turn off system, take keys out of car, lock and come back in 30 mins and should be fine.
Worked a treat for me,just make sure u select the right year and model, dont know why but the Abarth comes under Doble.
