Technical Flashing Mileage

Hi, my fiat punto (63) car mileage is flashing. I believed it was the battery as the car died on me 5 days later from first seeing it. After changing the car battery the mileage is still flashing. Any recommendations?

Yeah, just checked it and it's completely dead.

Afraid that'll be your problem, the car is expecting to see it and can't find it - only cure is removal and proxi-alignment, or replacement with a new or good used one.

If you've got some spare dough, delete it and fit a decent aftermarket solution, blue&me is dated at best and wasn't fantastic when it was new.

Normally it's the cause of the battery dying, they fail and drain it.

Have a scout about for the location of it on the Punto and disconnect the cable, your mileage will still flash, but your battery should keep its charge

Many causes, possibly proxi-alignment might cure it, but without knowing the root cause, hard to say for sure.
