Panda (Classic) Fizzle :)

Hello! Just scanned down all the 42 odd pages! :p
Panda's come on really well, Personally i do like the black steelies!
My MK3/4? (the new old one) Panda had the same wheels, with the Seicento center caps, painted black to match.

If this gives you some idea of how it might look

But now i have to Cinquecento, so i am derusting tomorrow  thanks for mentioning KuRust iv been trying to remember what it was called!:bang:

42 pages! Crikey! It's all in here, the rust, the tantrums, the dodgy paint jobs. :p

Funnily enough I was thinking about those center caps just before I read your post! :)

I'm tempted to paint them red (once I get some) as I've a bit of mixed paint left.

They look great on the MK3, maybe Twizzle will benefit from Fizzles cast off's? (y)

I keep looking at Cinq's/Sei's/Uno's/Y-10's one day I'll have another to add to the fledgling fleet :D

I think i paid about £4 for all 4 caps posted :yum:
I was going to paint them to match the car, but i think the car is a little modern for that:p It might have looked okay, but it would look better on this for sure.

I would go Cinq over any of them(y)
I dont like the power-steering the late Cinqs and all the Seis had, and the Y-10 parts would be rather hard to come by?

Cut and Paste and Paste again so can't be!

Its perspective, the CLX is parked at an angle to the camera, so one of the alloys is closer to the camera, therefore your cut, paste and paste again makes them look a tad disproportionate.

Anyhow could look good with the red and black theme. Although I don't think they'll look too bad left in the silver they are at the moment.

Yeah, parked at a dodgy angle not my fault at all :p

If I can get away with a good clean on them I'll try them as they are for a bit otherwise it's spray can time...

Red and black wheels can be very easily overdone - less is more

Where did you get the caps from for that price?

Cheapest ones I can find are £4 each plus postage

I'm not tight, just skint

Loving the guacamole green btw :)

As we've had a little respite from the moonson and I've watched Lewis Hamilton qualify in pole position I thought it was time to get Fizzle ready for the trip to Stanford.

Seeing as the usual puddle of wet under Him's dried out I decided against cleaning and polishing (why do it twice before the show?) and opted instead for finishing off the under seal.
Didn't take more than half an hour as it was just going over the old stuff really, all the loose worst bits had been done a while back. Apart from a few touch ups where the jack had scuffed it was a nice easy job, can't remember why I left it unfinished now! :)

Now of course I will have to let it cure for a few days before giving Him a wash and brush up, oh dear, how sad, never mind.
