Panda (Classic) Fizzle :)

Hmmm I think I may try some 14's for size first then.

to for that(y)

stick to 14" 5 or 5.5 wide at a push, and no wider than 165 tyres with lowish profile (in my experience anyway). since you dont get a great choice of tyres on that size, i'd stay with 13's.
of course you could get the rear arches flared and none of this would matter

Crikey! it's not straightforward no matter what I do

I suppose a bit of trial fitting won't hurt

Any more for any more folks? :p

Panda offset is 41mm, as long as you get wheels with roughly the same and not too wide you'll be fine. Tyres should be 165/65/13's or 165/60/14's to be on the safe side.

Mk1 punto sporting wheels offset is 45.5 so they might go one without spacers and not have clearance issues (like what i just fit to my cinq)

They are 14 x 5.5j

Also my old lancia's, they are 14 x 5.5j ET 45 as well, but they are not round anymore lol

Gah! Those are the 14's I've been looking at, and I was gonna black 'em up too. Now folks'll think I'm a copying you

I've been thinking about 14's for standard summer tyres and sei 13's alloys with winter/ m&s tyres for err, winter (and maybe a little soft roading too), Steelies for cluttering up the garage. I'm not too concerned about big arch gaps as that's standard on a Panda and looks ok with chunky tires, besides once lowered aren't I in for modified insurance headaches too? :p

lol, its ok fella, they different cars so its not copying ;)

Lowering doesn't usually make much difference to insurance i find but only if your current policy allows mods or you will be cancelling and going with someone else. Worth checking if they allow it or not and how much more they would want before thinking anymore about it tbh.

Cheaper and easier to get them from your Dealer. ;)

I have the bestest dealer - his names Vern! ;)

Well in other non-sycophantic news Fizzle has been riddled with 'speed holes'

Passenger side only - just waitin' for the paint to dry overnight - decided to put them all on with pegs - in for a penny etc

In more easily rectified if it's cocked up news :

since a 'fire' badge was hideously expensive decided to confuse the 3 pointed star drivers by adding my 'forum' initials (and soon to be new moniker):)

Good to see you're not cutting corners John (y)

But don't change your moniker! you'll always be Cheekylittlescamp now. :)

Back onto the topic of alloys - these are the design I'm looking at.

14" and from the old punto so 4x98 not sure of the offset though.

Funnily enough I was posting about alloys for my 500 when I first joined the forum, now nearly a year has passed and 2,501 posts later I'm asking about alloys for my Panda.
