Panda (Classic) Fizzle :)

No luck with the four black clips I'm afraid but the rest are on thier way.

Thanks Vernon (y)

That drill of mine will be getting some use, Poor fizzle is gonna look like he's been machine gunned

Who bought some black clips recently and has 4 spare ?

Some little nuts and bolts and a dab of underseal will do for now I reckon

He's gonna look so  with those sidies on :D

I did buy some non original ones but they turned out to be too small. If you've got a pop rivet gun you could fit them that way!

When you've drilled your holes for the side trims make sure you paint the bare metal edge rather than rushing the fit and leaving them bare. :nono:

No pop rivet gun :( Plenty of nuts and bolts though ;)

What's best to use on the bare metal? I have primer, under seal, stone chip paint, kurust, aerosol topcoat all at my disposal!

Primer then top coat should do it. Leave it a day to harden off before you fit the fixings or you will just rub it off again.

Got 'em !

Thanks Vernon (y) PM me the damage *wince*

I also got the rolls of badge tape as well from ebay.

It's a bit damp today here and I'm booked to take Mum round the shops this afternoon so looks like play times postponed :(

Mind you getting a bit anxious about marking up and drilling holes.

 Aston Martin Have you still got your Italian panda doors at home?
Perhaps I could come and take a look and get some measurements off them?

Could really do with a template of some kind I suppose.

That's lowered though so take into account you'll have a bigger arch gap.

Yeah I did notice the 40mm drop, that's a tad over an inch and a half in old money, or the width of a couple of fingers.

I think I'd get away with them though, plenty of air in those arches anyway and what's 1" and 1/2" between friends?

They do stick out at bit at the front width ways - would this be a legal problem?

Really appreciate some measurements etc panda1408

they don't look like they stick out the arches to me... them tyres will be 185 though and you don't have to have tyres that wide if you don't want. They have 165/55 as standard so is gonna be a bit thinner. I assume you are watching the black set on ebay...?

Whats the stock wheel specs for a panda? the offset of these wheels is 27.5, if i knew the width and offset of stock panda wheels i can tell you much more/less clearance there will be inside and outside of wheel. Or you can use one of the many online calculators.
