I did buy some non original ones but they turned out to be too small. If you've got a pop rivet gun you could fit them that way!
When you've drilled your holes for the side trims make sure you paint the bare metal edge rather than rushing the fit and leaving them bare. :nono:

What's best to use on the bare metal? I have primer, under seal, stone chip paint, kurust, aerosol topcoat all at my disposal!

That's lowered though so take into account you'll have a bigger arch gap.
Same as Charmanda's drop, you do actually notice it. I'm sure you'll be wanting to lower if you get them :devil:Yeah I did notice the 40mm drop, that's a tad over an inch and a half in old money, or the width of a couple of fingers.
Measurements are to the hole centres btw.
I reckon that works pretty well. Dropping may help even more....![]()
