Technical Fixed the electric mirror on the MULTI

Hi all

Just wanted to say thanks for a great site!

Following the forum guide of fixes, which were clearly set out step by step, I just fixed the electric wing mirror quite easily.
In my case, the black box was faulty(thermistor I think) and just bypassed it by removing it and re-connecting the wires.

Simple and saved a good few quids!

What was the fault?
Was the mirror occasionally folding forward on starting the car by any chance?

Sorry for delay.........
Mostly wouldn't work at ...........but yes, when it did, it pushed forwards!

After I disconnected the black box, the mirrors have sometimes been folding forward when starting the car. Is there a cure for that ?

My solution to this, disconnected the folding system.
