i have a punto sporting 2002, and have bought some abarth pedal taken from a right hand drive HGT Abarth. So they should fit right???

Clutch and brake pedals no problem, its the accelerator pedal. where the holes line up to drill through the actual pedal arm runs down the back. i cant drill through for 2 reasons 1/ it will weaken the pedal too much, 2/ it will be a right bitch to drill through :)

how do the hgt one fit, does the hgt have a different pedal?

if i stick the accelerator pedal on with tigerseal or Araldite Rapid Steel and drill some smaller holes into the pedal arm and use self tapping screws (with same size head as the bolts) instead of the bolts will that work? Personally i think tigerseal alone would be fine but i'm not taking the risk.

what do people think?????
