ours cost 100 for tints so 60 is cheap
Just been quoted £100 for both rear side windows, rear windscreen and front windscreen sun strip.
Also... my bulbs just arrived in the post. Looks like I'll be spending tonight on my car![]()
seems a fair price to me
Ive got Bosch Head Light bulbs to give me some more beam at night and can't for the love of god figure out how to put them in?!?!
Opened up the bonnet and got scared lol! This might be more challenging than originally thought.
Really?
you just place them on the engine and your done, close the bonnet
I hope you have a big bright torch then as where I live when I finish work it is very dark and if you couldnt see anything in the daylight then looking in the dark isnt best advised lol.Cheeky, if you didn't have such a nice Orange GP I'd slap you with a fish lol!!!
I almost did what you advised though.
Got bulbs out
Opened bonnet
Poked around and let off a big SIGH
Closed bonnet
Left bulbs on front passenger seat
Going to have a go after work

he has the bulbs on his seat they will light up the area up
but just incase your actually being serious here is some instructions
open your bonnet
locate the back of the headlights and you will see a rubber backing (circular in shape)
pull it off
and you will see a U shaped spring which you need to press and pull back (it'l be obiovous what you need to do)
pull the plug off the headlight (before or after the spring)
put new bulb in and perform the above in reverse![]()

NEW BULBS
I've put in the Bosch bulbs that I bought finally, don't know why people found this hard on the forum, good guide on here that I followed! :slayer:
Only took maybe 20 mins for both of them.
So much brighter!!!!
HID's in the next year or so if I've got modding itchyness inside me lol!
Question?
I've bought resistors to cancel warning codes as instructed by the forum, but didn't fit them in, no error codes or anything in the quick test I gave them?!
Anyone shed any light on it? Should I put them on or not?

If I'm understanding correctly, the resistors you've bought are designed to load the sidelight circuit - this is what you need if you're fitting LED sidelights, to trick the CANBUS system into thinking the sidelight bulbs are drawing the correct current and the correct(ish) voltage (LEDs are low-voltage and very low power in comparison to filament lamps). Therefore, you won't get any bulb-out warnings on the dashboard
From what I can see, you've got the standard sidelight bulbs and have only changed the H4 High/Dipped beam headlight bulbs, rendering the resistors useless unless you want to fit certain LED sidelights, which look great in my opinion
Hope this helps fellaKeep up the good work! Car looks good
If you need any suggestions for future mods just look at our threads or ask.
I've got Blue Fiat Tyre Valve covers over Xmas and have put a silver plated Fiat logo on the centre console that I installed!
Also feel I have the confidence to buy some tints online and try it myself.
Seems simple enough right, tint, knife, soapy water...
...WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG... hahaha!!!
Any of your GP forum lads had a go at self tinting?
