Hi I have recently noticed that my drivers side rear wheel has this really annoying squeaking noise constantly whilst driving. But when I press the brake, It stops. Also my friend noticed whilst driving behind me that my wheel is wobbling, I went to the tyre shop where I had my tyres replaced and had them check, the bolts are going in fine, but I have had my rear calliper changed when I had my mot done in May, do you think that, that could be the reason? Just asking if anyone knows what the problem could be and tbh the garage I go to. Tend to still charge me for jobs I've had done, seems like they're ripping me off each time. Only reason why I go there is cause 'it's my dad's friend :/'

Sounds like a worn wheel bearing. The wheel flops around visibly, probably rubbing the disc making the sound. Applying the brakes squeezes it all into position and tight which stops the sound.

Jack up the back without the brake on (block the front wheels) and see if you can wiggle the wheel around.

This isn't based on an Stilo-specific knowledge; just general.

Thanks for the advise mate, been to the tyre shop and just had them look at it. Wheel isn't wiggling with force. Seems like it's on fine, but when I spun the wheel whilst it was off the ground, it made the squeaking noise, I love my car but the trouble is unbelievably!
