Another quick question! I am due to have a baby in a couple of weeks, if i can't get a new OCS mat fitted before the bab arrives can I just turn the airbag off using the key? In the event of a crash will the airbag still go off or not?

If you're going to use a child seat in the front passenger seat, then you must deactivate the passenger airbag so it will not go off.

The diagram below shows the location of the deactivation key switch for a lefthand drive car. For a righthand drive car, it will be at the opposite end of the dashboard.

I will turn it off using the key, however I am wondering if in the event of a crash the airbag will still deploy because I have this ocs error.

how easy are these to fit? do i just simply disconnect the orange sensor wire under the seat and connect this up to it? or is it a bit more complicated?
