Update guys,
Had a journey today just over 100 miles, just before I get home, engine cuts off when I stuck in a traffic, restarted, was fine, but after 5 min I couldn't drive even 10 meters (had alternator failure, loose connection, high coolant temp, and couldn't start a car for half a min because of security failure).
I was forced to call RAC to check my stilo.. after half an hour guy turned up and started to check all the wires, earths, fuses and he couldn't fine anything before he touched ecu connectors. When he touched, I believe left connector, car cuts out straight away, when he tried to re-fire it had multiple errors as above plus security failure... he tried to reconnect connectors, checked all pins there and said that high possibility is that ecu itself is faulty, however could be connectors them self. He thinks that it is ecu because it displays multiple and random faults on display.
Recovery fellow added that you can test ecu, however at the time of check it could be fine and a will received it back saying it is fine (he added that he could be wrong) but from his experience with stilos he told that 90% it is faulty ecu.
After all the checks done, I was towed home...
So I need your advise, because I personally think it is an ecu what causing all the problems? Any suggestions?
