Technical Fiat radio trouble

Hey guys I was recently looking to install a aftermarket stereo in my 1.4 8v sport gp. I bought a decent stereo off a friend on the cheap and was told just too pop old one off and stick new one in (new too this stuff) anyways I swapped the cables around and the new stereo powered but then turned off. Now the aftermarket stereo or the factory one will power on, but everything else seems fine electric wise, any ideas what's up?

Pick above is aftermarket radio which I tried just swapping cables around with was going to do live cable from cigarette lighter at later stage, could it be a blown fuse under the glove box?
