Qubo multijet dynamic 1.3 Dynamic 2010 42k on the clock.
Bought my 18 year old daughter this vehicle end of February to use as a van for her dog walking business.
She will be driving along and suddenly loose power, almost as if its stalled, the lights on the dash come on, radio cuts off. This can be driven both manual and auto and it has an electronic clutch.
I had a mechanic out as it needed a starter motor, it’s after this that this issue started. He was a nice chap, very helpful and so called him out again he plugged it in to his diagnostics and it came up with a gearbox fault, the mechanic to drive it in manual instead as it was slow to change in automatic, however he’s not a gearbox specialist so doesn’t repair them.
He took it for a 6mile test drive and fault did not happen to him, gave it once over but couldn’t find anything obvious.
It then did the issue again, so called AA out he didn’t get a gearbox fault he got an accelerator pedal fault potentially from his diagnostic machine. He took it out for a test drive with my daughter - didn’t happen!
We then booked it in with a auto electrician for diagnostics on Friday just gone - his machines are specific to car make so give more in depth codes etc
His report said driver error - daughter is the issue as he got a fault saying coherence of both pedals being pressed at the same time, causing it to ‘stall’.
Really at a loss as daughter is adamant she
Doesn’t clip pedals not even sure really how you can press both even accidentally as you use the same foot on automatic the other foot is redundant, not even 24hrs later it’s flashed ‘check transmissions’ and broken down 3 times on a 30 minute journey. Although not “stalled” radio has cut off twice, a warning light and several dash things and beeping.
Really at a loss as to what to do and how to sort this.
Anyone have any ideas or had experience at 18 she’s not got the funds to keep having mechanics and diagnostics with no further resolve.
Thank you in advance
