Hi everyone I have a 2013 fiat panda 4x4 and the drive shaft for the 4x4 the centre bearing the rubber is all torn my mechanic had a look and he said the centre bearing is pressed on so I will need a whole new shaft please help has anyone gone down this road before
 
A new shaft from Fiat is £800. I got a local place (near Bracknell) to replace the bearing on mine last month for £170.
 
Thank you for the reply’s a new one from fiat is £1550 plus vat I’ve found a place in the north that just dose shafts £266 my mechanic won’t split the shaft he never done it before the wee car done well I’ve got 95000 miles

Just to let everyone no I got sorted with a new drive shaft from driveshaft solutions all in £260
