Why wasnt any tracks in scotland considered????? It would give people a chance to go onto knockhill..... not many chances to get up here.

Well to be honest, i'd be willing to sort out travel arrangements and stuff if ya wanted to come up here!!!

Not too bothered where, as I can probably travel there, go round the track a few times and come home on a tank of derv

Donnington, Knockhill is closer for me too, but Donnington is probably the best UK circuit for production cars. It's got a nice wide track, high speed straights, high speed corners, slow corners and some nice up/down bits.

Plus its on Toca Race Driver 3, Toca Race driver 2, Toca Race driver, Toca 2 and Toca 1 so plenty of options for people to get some practise in, learn the circuit etc.

Having never been on a track day, I would have to say Silverstone as its closest to me.

However, I did attend a track day at Brand Hatch before (not driving of course) and that seemed pretty good to me.

Whats everyones position on insurance out of interest, i know i'm gonna have to sort some temporary insurance out for it as mine won't cover me, Anyone sorted themselves insurance for a trackday before, what kinda money we looking at??
