Hi All
I am seeking some advice regarding my 2006 Doblo. Today while driving home the clutch peddle lost all pressure and fell to the floor. I managed to get it round to my garage without the clutch and he had a look at the car. The mechanic said the problem was with either the master or slave cylinder which had collapsed. But also said that the cause of the issues is likely to be the clutch itself. I spoke with a specialist fitter about a clutch kit, master or slave cylinder and a new flywheel - total cost £960 fitted. Speaking to a friend of mine who has much more knowledge than me, he suggested that it would be crazy to replace the whole system if the problem is just a hydraulic issue with either the slave or master cylinder. I would appreciate your advice as to what I should do first, I'm fond of the old girl but £960 at 15 years old might be a bill too far.
