Really disappointed with FIAT customer services. I had a conversation with them today after I had enquired about why there was no touch up paint available for my car which is a Panda 4x4 which is almost a year old. Please see the thread on the Panda 2012 section for more detail.
Anyway, enquiries were made with the relevant department and FIAT have not made a touch up paint in this colour due to "supply and demand" issues. That was the response! Does this mean anything to anyone? My car is in probably the most popular, or second most popular colour in the 4x4.
I was unhappy with this response so asked if I could speak to a manager or if an enquiry could be left for someone who makes decisions on things like this so I could understand their reasoning. I was told that there was no facility to do this, that my enquiry had been answered, and that she was sorry that I was not happy with it. After expressing my unhappiness again I was finally told that I could send in a written complaint.
What kind of service is this? Is it unreasonable to be able to bring to FIATs attention issues such as this? I have owned many cars and have never not been able to get a touch up paint.
It seems like FIAT are not interested in the customer once the car is purchased. I don't think I've ever experienced such poor customer service from a company before.

It's a disgrace. I used to have a Ford Racing Puma, they only made 500 of them in a colour unique to that car. I could still buy touch up paint for it 8 years from when it went out of production.

maybe the colour of your car is such that a touch up stick would be chalk and cheese to factory paint once on so fiat are mitigating future complaints by not selling the stuff

I'm not very impressed with Fiat Customer Services either (long story).
The only possible solution I can suggest is to try one of the Co's that will mix up
touch-up or aerosol paint to your paint code, try a web search e.g. car paint supplier or ask in a Motor Factors . Hope this is of some help,

Al.
