Hi guys hope everyone is well. I have a question I hope someone can help me with. My wife has complained about a banging at the rear of her fiat 500 and when I investigated I found that the rear o/s bump stop has broken and half of it is loose in the spring (photo attached). I have read on the net that they can be replaced with fiat coupe ones for a better ride as they are shorter. The bit of info I can't find is whether the bump stop should be inserted into the plastic abs that remains or whether that bit should be removed and the rubber bump stop inserted into the hole that is left. I will replace both side and hope someone out there can answer my question? I'm sure someone has done the mid and would appreciate some advice thanks in advance best regards Paul.
