Technical Fiat Cinquecento Heater Blower Issue

My Cinquecento Sporting appears to only have one speed setting working - 3 on the heater blower.
I have heard resistors mentioned before? Or would it be a control module that has failed? I have no idea where to look.

Can anyone offer any advice?

It can often be the fan resister, usually fixed to the heater fan blower body with several wires coming from it.
Usual way of identifying it is look for a photo of one advertised on eBay.

I had a good look on eBay last night. Think I’ve found the part, although one of the listings says it’s for a vehicle with air conditioning. Which clearly a UK car doesn’t have.

Have messaged a supplier to be sure.
Looks a crappy job to do though.
