fiat bravo reconditioned engine???

i need a fiat bravo recondition engine for my car as my cam belt went today 18th april 2003. i bought the car only a year ago and was led to believe it had already been changed, big mistake. i could be looking at over a thousand pounds to have it sorted, so just wondered if anyone has any ideas on where to look for an engine or if anyone has one??? please help im gutted!!!!!

Back pages of the AutoTrader lists breakers and recon engine sellers etc, that is agood place to start. Recon is the best bet as he come with a warranty whereas a 2nd hand engine generally does not. Good luck, it took a few weeks for the garage to find me a recon TD100 engine, after scouring the country they asked the local Fiat garage who said 'We have a recon engine in the workshop but don't know what it is from, maybe you could look at it and tell us if it will fit the TD100!!!!!'
