Hi all good morning I have owned my fiat 500 for around a year and it had been good but recently it has been shaking a lot while I'm waiting at traffic lights and then it goes back to normal? I found this very strange can anyone drop me any advice thank you

Model
Fist 500 2012
Year
2012
Mileage
77000
Is this a 2 door 500?
Or a big 5 door 500L MPV?

Which engine, and is it manual or automatic?

Are you out of gear with handbrake on at the lights? Or in gear?

When was it last serviced? All fluids up to level?

Any warning lights on dash? Engine check light on?
Thank you for your rely it's a 2012 manual I'm normally in first gear at the traffic lights and I had it serviced every years and now the issue has stopped which is strange there has been no warning lights come up on the dashboard I

I'd suggest next time it happens take it out of gear and see if it stops.
It's possible the clutch might start to drag if there are any hydraulic leaks and you keep the pedal depressed too long.
Check around the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder for any signs of leaks. I think the slave cylinder is internal on the 500L, mounted on top of the gearbox on the 500.
But could be many things. Does it feel like it's misfiring, engine related?
