FF playing up?

Woah . Almost good as a Sharepoint database I shrank the other day from 96Gb's to 4Gb.

Customer hadn't backed it up in 4 years and it was set to complex recovery model...

Still good so far.

If by Monday it's still running well, I'll re-enable the Garage - see if it can handle that at the same time

not sure thats a good idea, that garage is very badly coded you know

Yeah i put my car in there when i first joined up and never looked at it again lol

Maybe do a forum wide poll? See how many people actually use it regularly enough to need it?

i never had a problem adding stuff, you just had to fill in all the compulsory fields or it would get rejected.. Meh, i did put my cars in there but didn't really ever use it or browse people's cars at all.

I'd say its a cool 'little' feature but i wasn't sad at all when it was turned off and haven't missed it.

Just me then ..

I like to trawl through every now and again, checking out other members motors ..

Plus when someone posts and doesn't say what vehicle they're talking about it's easy to take a quick look at their garage to see what cars they own so I can reply ..

Yeah, I got quite a lot of emails about the garage.

It is written badly - but the server *should* be able to handle it anyway.

However, lets see how these days go anyway. If it's going to cause trouble, of course I won't re-add it

I'm liking things so far - average response time has gone from 2478ms to 2120ms

I haven't had any hangs at all since then too - and I've been on as much as humanly possible!
