If ppl WANT to go with thier club

why wouldnt they - like i have said we dont want to step on anyones shoes so of course they want to go with their club thats what they pay their membership for.

I've said no for my reasons discussed in the other topic. I strongly believe this would distract potential members away from clubs that rely heavily on a strong base of members

I feel that people join members clubs to be around people with similar interests. Being able to stand with the club at events is not the main cause for joining.

i don't see this as the fiatforum competing against the fiat clubs...

But FF is NOT a club though we r NOT a challange to clubs or trying to poach memebers ? if there was a Panda Club i'd of joined both as they'd both have good benifits FF offfers advice Fiat wide I love my Panda but i enjoy still chatting etc bout other fiats etc

I've been member in clubs b4 but at national events etc mixed with everyone not matter what Club n surely thats all FF is trying to do n have a non Specific Fiat type Forum

Sorry folks but I think club Gaz sounds best None of you can beat a fire extinguisher and loo roll! I'm not having a club, from the sounds of things I'm in too many already by daring to be on two different car forums and a member of one owners club Seriously though, I don't think it's a case of split loyalty - the owners clubs are well promoted on here and the serious enthusiasts are always going to be with the owners clubs. But we do all need somewhere to gather together, communicate, get ideas and show off the sheer VARIETY that Fiat has to offer. As long as owners clubs get first dibs on cars for stands I don't see the problem. Anyway, it takes a lot of time, effort and energy to arrange any kind of stands for events and is too late for most 2005 events now. I think it's more of a case of promoting the forum as a forum and then within the forum , promoting the owners clubs so people can do both. Or am I not allowed to do both and being shunned?
