I have a Marea 2.4 td hlx
Essentially its the same as a brava.
the Problem is the temperature guage dosnt work then all of a sudden it goes up to a normal reading, this only lasts a few seconds or minutes at the most. I cant find any loose connections anywhere.
Near the bottom of the radiator on the drivers side of the car there is a connection which i presume sends the temperature reading to the guage.
Is there a way of testing this?
or any other ideas?

Same problem with my marea 100td, after they exchanged the radiator. Probably bad contact, or bad temp-sensor. At 23th shet goes to the dealer ;)

Me too :(

Same problem with my 96 Bravo. Gauge usually dosnn't register, then jumps up and down erratically, usually on accelleration, then drops off again.

let me know

we all got the problem but not a soloution, would be intrested to know what your garage does to fix it .

or from anyone else whos had it solved as it's obviously a common fault

Exactly the same problem indeed, I hope they can solve it next week 23-11. I suspect the senser itself.

solution faulty watertemp

Today the dealer exchanges the temp-sensor on the motor. Now it's OK again.
