Following the message from dashboard that my stop lamp bulb was faulty, I renewed it with the appropriate bulb. It is working prefectly, but nobody seems to have told the little man in my dashboard!! Every time I switch on it bleeps at me that it is faulty. I've checked all the other bulbs and they are OK. Any ideas how I can turn the little s-d off? :bang:

Wifeys 1.2 re-set itself after I swapped the bulb. Are you certain you put in the exact right bulb for a Stilo?

I would highly suggest cleaning up the contacts for the bulb holder. The car uses a low voltage to test if the bulb has blown. If the bulb contact points are dirty or tarnished, the bulb may still work but the low voltage test says that the bulb has blown. use some contact cleaner and you'll be as right as rain (y)

Also make sure the rear light connectors (white i think) are VERY VERY clear and not burned. I've seen a Stilo going crazy about the rear right light even though it seemed to work fine...
Open the connector an ... voila! A cable turned black!

Many thanks. Cleaned contacts. Now works OK.
