Anyone had any dealings with either, Someone off CUK claims to have had issues with Fast Fiat and a slow delivery time. I was just interested to hear what other people thought :)

i got some side repeaters off fast fiat, nothing i can complain about, have had better delivery off ebay shops etc but i still wouldn't say they were slow.

Re: Re: Fast Fiat and Forza Tuning

They are **** when it comes to replying to emails. Sorry that should say they dont reply to emails.

Re: Re: Re: Fast Fiat and Forza Tuning

I have ordered side repeaters and bilstein shocks from them and they were excellent. Delivery times were fast, shocks came next day, bilstein even made a mistake with the shocks and I got the wrong ones, fast fiat couldn't have been more helpful and got replacements off straight away, again came next day.

You should never e-mail companies because they don't have to reply, e-bay, amazon, poewalfa all don't answer emails, you should always ring them up so they have to do something about it.

Forza T

I had a distasteful experience with F/Tuning a couple of years ago. Don't know what they are like now. Basically my Alfa 164TS was in a poor state and required tuning: running ultra rich black smoke etc. Prior to taking it there, I had personally tried a few things (unsucessfully) prior to giving up and taking it to them.
I actually replaced the Air Flow meter myself plus replacing throttle pot sensor and cleaning out the idling section. Anyway Forza T/ kept my car for a whole month. Yes 1 month!
I phoned every few days but they kept saying they could not find the fault.(Yes they advertise themselves as Alfa/Fiat specialists!) They said the 164 was 'different' to current Alfa's -in fact not long discontinued and in addition that version of Bosch Motronic ML 4.1 is also used in the 2.0 Vauxhall Vectra and other vehicles.
Anyway when I went to pick the car up is when I got the shock: the bill was for £1150! -and that was supposed to be low -only because all the parts replaced were second hand! So then I was supposed to be 'grateful' too! plus I was told the hourly labour charge was reduced. I later found out the ECU is a favourite for changing when it rarely if ever needs replacing: many unscrupulous mechanics change. It's very expensieve so they can massively bump up the price. So these people at Forza T. give me a highly technical explanation for their repairs and well.. you just have to accept it! The 'tuner'guy was also keen to show me his special Alfa diagnostic tester still connected to my replaced ECU!. I cannot prove a thing but on reflecting and you go over things slowly, you can notice inconsistencies and smell a rat. I did!
I even had to pay for another Air Flow meter when In fact I told him I replaced the original anyway.
I'm pretty certain I was ripped off.
I have a Fiat Brava now but would certainly not take it there and am looking for honest repairers and tuners. Anybody? The usual thing car mechanics like to do is hike the price on their original quote! (Big technical garb 'We found this and that....!)

Re: Forza T

when i ordered my siderepeaters it toke nearly two months for them to turn up and when they did they were the wrong ones that was from fastfiat. when i rang them they told me that the ones i wanted were out off stock. but when i ordered my springs from them they came the next day. my advice is to go for next day delivery as its only a couple of quid more

Re: Re: Forza T

Cheers for that guys.

Its not going into Forza tuning for any work, I'm just buying something from them.

FastFiats next day delivery is only an extra 4 quid as well so it looks well worth it to save the hassle.

Anyone know where they are based (if anywhere) and whether you can go to collect parts ??

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Forza T

Ordered Bilstein shocks all round and springs from fast fiat, took an age. Nearly a month by the time everything arrived. Fobbed off on numerous occasions. Lack of communication on their part even after they had taken the money, had to chase them all the time.
