Right, you'll have to wait till after may for pictures, and i may do it as a pdf file for ease, but in stages here goes.
Amp first i suppose, and this is the hardest bit. I wouldn't recommend using the cigarette lighter, if your going to do it, run a cable from the battery directly to the boot. This isn't as problematic as it sounds, if you hunt around in the engine bay you should see a "cone shaped grommet thing" where all the electrical wires pass through before entering the fuse board. The aim is to feed a o guage wire through here. I did it using a tiny drill bit and then a fishing pull (the tool used to pull wires through floor joists etc) once in, you can run it to the boot with no problems at all.
Cable routing.
I've got the power lead running along the drivers side of the car, to do this you'll have to remove the sill plate that is held in place via a screw and the handle to pop the bonnet. The handle can be prised of gently using a srewdriver dont go too hard, patience is the key. Once off, lift the sill plate away, and you can run the cable further along. To get it behind the rear panel you'll have to strip the whole of the rear out, or run the risk of snapping it, so heres the steps. You'll need a socket set and i think a T40 drive bit.
1. Undo the fixings holding the lower part of the seat in position. There'll be one screw with a torx head and a nut for each bit (1/3 and 2/3). Once off the lower seat can be lifted away.
2.Next you should see that the seatbelt is fixed using a single bolt to the rear of each panel left and right, undo these and make sure to keep all the bits.
3. There will also be 4 torx head screws holding the back support of the chair to the car, these will need to come out, (these also house the socket for the seat belt)
4. Fold the seats forward, and you should see 4 nuts, holding the hinges into place, undo them, and the seat should be free. best way out is through the tail gate.
5.Now the seats are out the panels are left. Using a small panel puller relase the panel from the inside of the car. They are only held using panel clips, but on saying that it is best to order some new ones they're not expenseive but worth replacing once you pull them out. You should see the speakers, held in place using 3 or 4 self tappers, whip them out and bobs your uncle. Speakers can be changed. I've got 6.5" ones in their place, and used some 18mm MDF to create a housing the same shape as the orignal ones (just trace around the shape of it).
Anything else, sorry its brief but exam revison calls.
