Styling FAO ppl wit 17"z on a mk1!

Firstly how much hassle woz it to fit them (i.e what work was needed?), i have heard a lot of time abput having to relocate the rear bumper bolt, but my question is where do i locate it to? and is it easy to do? Also heard that i need to remove plastic arch liner? Will this have a detrimantal affect on the car? Whats it for? And lastly how long would it take to complete the above to tasks?

The only thing that was required on my car was to flatten the rear arch lip, i still run the plastic liner and it only catches when ive got 4 people in it and its lowered 60mm! As for the rear bumper i did have to move the rear bolt and bracket i made a new one with bits from B&Q if your not completly sure of what ur doin take it to a decent alloy wheel shop, try smart car in Notts, and they will be able to sort it for u!
The only thing i noticed jumping from 16" to 17" is that the handaling suffers a little bit but if you are after style and that show look its well worth it!
