Hello.
Got a Fiat Ducato 2.0 jtd from 2002.
Had car switching off while driving, couple of times now, with red engine light coming on.
On the search for problems, I realized that both fans are not coming on. Was looking for a sensor around the radiator, like it's on there on a 1.9 model, but couldn't find anything. Does somebody know where to look for the module which is switching them on?

On common rail engines, of which the 2.0jtd is an example, the cooling fans are controlled by the ECU which takes an input signal from a coolant temperature sensor. Perhaps even a basic code reader would confirm your diagnosois?

For location of coolant temperature sensor and other items on the 2.0jtd, see attached extract from Fiat eLearn.

When I had a problem with the temperature indication on my 2.8jtd, I cured it by cleaning the sensor connections
