Fan switch nut size

Hi does anyone know what size the nut is on the fan switch and how to get it off. Like the one in the link.

i would guess around 15mm..just get some spanners on it and you will know..or even a adjustable one

I'm sure its a one and one eight af size

Got to be bigger than 15mm.I tried 19mm spanner and a 6" adjustable and their not big enough.

Has anybody ever removed one and know the correct size of the nut?

its roughly 28mm. but as above the ewxact size is AF 1 1/8 or 1.125" But its easy to use mole grips on it. BTW, I have a good one here if anyone needs one

28mm :0 didnt think it'd be that big..ive never replaced 1 so like i say it was i guess earlier
