fan problem

right so i have a w reg punto at the moment just done a complete engine swap from a punto 04 plate runs smooth as anything quite proud of myself to have a sweet engine running again
anyway i have a problem i have a extra cable i think it could possibly be a extra lambda i think the newer models of the puntos have 2 lambda sensors but again i am not sure on this so if anyone could help me on this it would be awsome

also, the fan is not switching on took it for a spin today to test the new drive shafts, new clutch etc... no signs of over heating both hoses from the radiator are piping hot, fan doesn't turn on, yet everything is connected. apart from that one cable which i cant see where else it connects

help would be much appreciated

bridge your fan switch out first to make sure there still working if they come on then a new switch is needed!
