Fake email?

Hi All

I recieved this today:



It seems genuine, but upon clicking the link (im pretty good at recognising S*** but this one got me) it is trying to redirect to lycczx.cn

My security software has blocked it but just looking for confirmation tbh.

yeah there is alot of these going around at the moment, same with itunes ive had some., they are phising emails. Easy way to tell is if you hover over the link it tells you where it goes, its usually some random place.

I had a similar crap email from PayPal last week. Said my account had been locked and to click the link. Closed the message and logged in the normal way without issue so have put it down as spam.

Just checked the address the email was sent from [email protected] :chin:

never click a link in an email for any thing to do with money, bank, paypal and so on you should always just log on normally, if there is any thing wrong you will soon find out with a message on the page.

Assuming you're on a PC - hover your mouse over the link, they normally look pretty dodgy, if there's still any doubt - as Dave says - just log in normally and check that way.
