errr... sorry i'm a little confused, are you asking if a real dump valve can be fitted to a TD? if so yes there are some for TD's

sorry was saying the fake dump valve sounded good. but was also asking if you could fit a dump valve to a fiat fiorino 1.7 td ?

so will any dump valve work i mean on a diesel engine is it just air filter to turbo to inlet manifold also where can i get the dump valve from ?

Okay ill be the first to admit, that does actually sound completely sheeet.
But (and yes im prepared to be slated badly here) real dump valve's sound excellent, its a real eye catcher. (well ear catcher)
My argument is that for some people (especially new drivers) their first year driving insurance bill for even a bag of sheet car is often a grand+ therefore emptying the bank to start with. Then even changing the alloy's on a car chuck's up the insurance again.
Then thinking about a turbo for it? "hahahahha we wouldnt even insure you if u modify the engine forget it!"

So taking all that into consideration, Having it sound just like the real thing. Would you all be still agreed that theyre terrible even if they sounded good?

Yes.

I mean playing a recording of an F1 engine sounds fantastic, but sounds pathetic if it's pretending to come from an average car.

It's all fake, sheep in wolf's clothing and all that. Why make an engine sound like a turbo when it hasn't got the performance to back it up? Sheesh, are people THAT shallow?!!!

Oh, I think the poll results speak for themselves... ;)

dont forget the super mod chip (resistor) and electric supercharger (PC cooling fan). then you should easily be pushing 400bhp before you use the fake nitrous button glued on the dash (that really activates your neons).

i bet you have a big maxpower sticker somewhere on your car.

i think a poll like this should result in an instant ban from fiatforum for 3 years.

I az got 4 of deez bad boyz hooked up under me hood and itz got all da cool mofoz at da local pimp cruiez tinking dat i az got a 1.2 quad turbo aye :D

*Please note that I am taking the preverbial and I dont not condone the use of fake dump valves on any vehicle except for maybe a 1.1 Paxo in which case I believe that it is actually not only an incredibly cool modification but it will also improve performance by upto 600% and slash your quarter mile times down to an outstanding time of 4.6 seconds*

IF YOU WANT TO YOUR CAR TO SOUND LIKE IT HAS A DUMP VALVE THEN I SUGGEST YOU BUY A TURBOCHARGED VEHICLE AND INSTALL A DUMP VALVE (IF ONE IS NOT ALREADY PRESENT)
