In terms of refinement, space and comfort the Bravo is a big step up from the Punto. It would be well worth the extra £100.

id probably also spend over £100 trying to make it faster but still wont be as fast as bravo and insurance probz be more too! lol

if it was down to stats, it would be even, with a 10.6s 0 - 60 time, recorded for the bravo 1.6 with the punto 1.2 16v (mk2 sporting) with an identical 0 - 60 time, helped by it using the closer ratio 6speed box. The 1.6 does have the higher top speed though.

in regard to the 1.2, the remap, if its the same one that angel tuning does, it adds 8bhp. Had it done to my brava, which brings it upto 90bhp.

I spoke to Nige and he told me that it will bring over 10bhp

IMO the Bravo is much better looking than any Punto. A well sorted Bravo is one of the best looking cars on the road.

I agree with what scorg says, 0-60 is about the same but it has a higher top speed, which is obvious as the bravo is a 1.6, but what does top speed matter in this country? As long as you can do 70 then thats all that matters
