I've been told its not. I know someone who used to work in Norwich on the town center CCTV system.
I personally would like to work on traffic masters road cctv network. Would see some funny things.
I would like the job not for its pay, but the fact that I can sit on my arse. lol.

i fit intruder alarms. cctv. access control etc, currently in training for my SIA licence, exam is next month. entitles me to do door work too. also looking at moving into close protection when im 21

i want to do my sia too but not 18 yet lol
yeah, my mum and dads building business. attached to each side of our house is a cctv camera linked to the house tv's so we can view all the goings on (such as cats climbing over our cars, or the postman)
also makes for good viewing when we have visitors pulling into the rather steep drive to make sure they dont bump my beast
