General Faded paint once debadged!!

Hey i just debadged the rear of my red punto (only took the 'fiat' badge off)
But its left the dark paint colour underneath. So.. looks like my cars faded a lot over the years

Anyway.. iv tried t-cutting it (about 10 times) and its still not blending in

Any suggestions?

This has also prevented me from smoothing the sides, as planned.

Bearing in mind.. im on a students budget, like... no money. haha lol

Mk2's are clearcoated.
If it's faded it's faded under the clear.
Only way to fix is to re-paint.

A proper polish will make it look better and brighten it up a bit, but if the underlying paint is faded you're stuck.
