Technical F@*##~G car

I bought this car cheap with the intent of doing it up but when I fix one problem another appears Ive had enough!!!
I took it in for the nct (mot) in ireland and it failde on emissions
.32% co instead of .bloody3
I took it to fiat who took a very long time to test it and came back and told me i need a water temperature sensor, this would apparently cut down the juice used!, so i put another one in, and it's still drinking like no tomorrow and the injector lights still on, i've sprayed all the connectors plug leads plugs now what do i do...... apart from pray?
OH yes and now the cats rattling like a tin can

try using an engine additive, STP do a nct pack, got the emmisions down for me, they weren't high but when i got it retested for brakes they checked emmisions aswell and they were a bit lower the first time

did the dealer do a diagnostic check on it?

yes they did a full diagnostics test, that place on the dock rd, cost me 65 euro, to tell me the water sensor qas knackered, it wasnt either.. OK i'll put a pack of cleaner thru, maybe itll clean the injectors up or something cheers bud..
