Had my shiny new 17in alloys 2 months and i have curbed 2 of them already!!
Anyone know if you can repair or would it be easier/cheaper to buy 2 new ones - i assume you can buy alloys individually??

No doubt we have all done it...you can get companies like....

They will come out and repair the rims, i've never used them though but would like to on my Kahns that have also been kirbed. Anyone on here ever had alloys firbed by an independant rather than the manufacturer?

I had some old alloys that I skidded into a curb and gave a severe death-crack to and gauged a huge chunk out of one of! I thought it was irrepairable but Rochford Tyres (near southend if that's of any use to anyone (01702 541 789) ) said 'no problem' the welding is £35 and painting the whole wheel to finish it, another £35. Havent picked it up yet to see the results, but will let you know as soon as I do.

lol - Since i've had my new alloys i park about 2 foot from the kerb and my whole parking lark has gone down the drain

Since i got mine i park about a foot away from the curb at all times, my parking has improved loads becuae i am 100% more carefull then i was before, i have had them 3 months and curbed them once, mainly because i had to swerve to avoid a collision with a idiot who doesent know what side of the road to drive on so i whacked the curb at a bit of an angle, it is a nasty scrape about 4 inches around the outter rim, i have decided to have them repaired but maybie in about a year or so, because if i get them repaired then curb them again i will cry, lol

Yeah i was doing that but last nite had to park it on a busy narrow street so was trying to get as close to the kerb as i dare then CRUNCH! i **** the kerb! i nearly cried!
