My new Fiat Panda (bought at the end of 2021) doesn’t have a CD player, does anybody know of an external CD player that I can plug into the USB port that works with the cars Bluetooth system? has anyone tried the Retti External CD player? I don’t want to use my phone to store the music but I would like to be able to play a few of my old CDs while driving.

Thanks, I tried putting MP3 files on to a pen drive but it didn’t work, I resorted to purchasing a Zilitol 505966 USB CD player and plugging it into the USB port on the dash board, it works perfectly, I didn’t even have to connect it via the blue tooth, I just plugged it in and it worked.

Good you got sorted Julie. I get annoyed at manufacturers taking CD players out of cars to save costs. It's not because everyone wants Bluetooth, many people just have to accept CD isn't an option. But overall it's still a superior format and safer to use in a car, not to mention it pays artists more royalties than say Spotify 🙂

I found the B&M thing a total pain at first but once you crack it it works really quite well. Persist. I eventually sat in the car for an hour and fiddled and in the end all became clear. PS I hate technology more and more as I age..... Shove the stick in the slot. Press the speach button on the steering wheel, say media player, then say help and menu commands will be revealed. Wait for the system to bleep before speaking.

I've still got a tape player in one of my cars, there's CD versions in laters cars but they just skip, tapes dont.
